Ingrid & Tye - Pittsburgh Wedding Photography

Ingrid & Tye wanted to do something completely non-traditional for their wedding so they chose a location as far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city as possible with only their closest friends and family. Seneca Rocks West Virginia is a camping/ sight seeing spot about 3 hours from Pittsburgh. It's always exciting shooting destination weddings because each location is so unique. People came from as far as Georgia and Washington state to attend! Ingrid and Tye got ready at Harman's Cabins and their ceremony was performed outdoors with a gorgeous mountain and flowing stream as their backdrop. Later we drove a few miles down the road to a few other locations for bride and groom photos. It seemed like everywhere we looked we saw one incredible spot after the next. It was really an awesome way to combine my love for landscape photography with portraiture. Huge cliffs and stars as far as the eye can see are things you just don't witness in Pittsburgh. Later on, Ingrid's father cooked up some delicious steaks on the grill and Tye's father sang and played his guitar around the fire. Thanks again to everyone for making Jason and I feel like part of the family at such a special, intimate wedding. It's one I will never forget!

Great pictures! You really captured the essence of this special occasion. What a nice assortment of scenes for them to cherish.
As the wedding couple live and work in the hustle bustle, rat race of Washington, D.C. but love fishing and the outdoors, this was their perfect "destination wedding"!
